Experiential learning immersion involves students visiting sites associated with violence and conflict transformation throughout the United States during a 3-week immersion. One such location is at the sight of Ground Zero in New York. Students see first hand the tragedy of violence from September 11, 2001 and explore its aftermath. Students reflect on how they can become an active participants in reducing violence.
